I've been approaching my portfolio at this point a bit like all successful (and most unsuccessful) writers approach their work: heedlessly bombard the page constantly and tirelessly until you get something worthwhile out of all the junk. Then do it again. On average I've spent as much time drawing as I have reading and going to class, which is about 18 hours a week. On top of that I've been writing about 6-7 hours a week, too. Which wasn't as much as I had hoped, but I've been spending a lot of time trying to find a job, too. My brain is kinda frazzled. My Japanese study has fallen behind some because of this, though... @.@
